Girls Day Out

Planned a girls day out at Disneyland yesterday!

Definitely had a nice time with the lovely ladies. :)

Patience.

I have a pretty good feeling that He's testing my patience and my trust in Him. I've been so worried about a certain issue and I feel like I haven't been giving Him enough of my time, faith, hope and trust. I KNOW He has a plan for me and I'm just SO so stubborn! Darn me. Why must I be so stubborn sometimes? It's a terrible trait, really.

Verses for me to always keep in mind:

Jeremiah 29:11 “For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the LORD, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.”

Psalm 118:8 “It is better to trust in the LORD than to put confidence in man.”

You are just SO wonderful. You truly, truly are. You never turn away from me and I am a fool to not give you all the praise you deserve.

Papa loves me!

The last time we went to Costco, my dad didn't let me put Nutella in the shopping cart. Today, my dad came home from grocery shopping and asked me to help unload the car. Lo and behold, I found this snug amongst the other groceries!

Me: "NUTELLA! But Daddy, I thought you said no to Nutella?"
Him: "I only bought it because I know you have a big test tomorrow and I want you to get 100%."

He said this and followed it with a big hug.

I love my Papa! :)
